Incubation Manager — Pearl Runway Studio

Founders get investment‑ready. Investors get the shortlist.

I run the incubation programme at Pearl Runway Studio, the UPES-backed startup studio in Bengaluru. Alongside it, I work with early-stage founders on the things that actually decide a round: the pitch, the unit economics, and the story they tell investors.

01 — The real problem

Founders don't lose rounds on the idea. They lose on the three minutes around it.

A pitch that doesn't land in the first few minutes. Unit economics they can't defend. A story that never quite clicks. That's the work I do, getting the parts investors actually judge right.

I've built and scaled a startup myself, so I know from the inside how founders get evaluated, and where they fall apart. I bring a finance background to the numbers, and I help founders use AI to do the work of a bigger team.

02 — The work

Where I focus.

Five things, done properly. Everything else is noise until these hold up.

03 — Score your deck

Is your deck investment‑ready?

Ten checks I run on every deck before it goes near an investor. Tick the ones that are honestly true today.

These are the gaps investors notice first. Worth fixing before the deck goes out.

Getting there

The bones are good. A few of these decide whether you get the second meeting.

Investor-ready

Strong. Now make sure every claim survives a hostile question.

05 — Two ways in

Whether you're building a startup, or backing one.

For founders

Make it fundable.

Sharpen the pitch, defend your unit economics, build a narrative that holds up. Start with the checklist, or reach out if you want another pair of eyes on your raise.

For investors & partners

Find the ones worth your time.

I meet founders early and know which ones are doing the real work. If you back early-stage startups, or run a programme that wants to partner with Pearl Runway Studio, let's talk.
